The
shelter realy was large and gave the impression of a Wal-Mart. Down the
highway we saw another church with over a thousand people in line for
feeding. |

Goods
were being distributed daily to those that had registered. No one
received more than what they needed. |

Inside
Jefferson Parish Shelter (one of many). Everything was well organized
but,running low on canned goods an meat. This church fed 3700 people
per meal and distributed to over 3000 victims groceries,clothing
etc. The civilians at the
Shelter were very happy to see us and were very courteous.

More victims can be helped. Jefferson Baptist Church Pastor has been
with them for 50 years. His experienced provided a lot of organization

in, the US Volunteers
immediately planned on a relief
operation to help the victims.
