Training Calendar

CSM Ismael Aguilar
Special Troops Command

National HQ
It is USV-JSC policy that USV-JSC personnel who plan, schedule, commit, or control the use of USV-JSC assets shall understand fully the organization’s mission and ensure that personnel are trained and educated to support it.  This Directive is the USV-JSC basic training and education policy document.  Various training methods will be utilized in developing members for mission essential tasks.

All members must go through training.  This training can be summed up in three phases.
The first is to understand the Policy and Standards.  This training will prepare you for proper personal appearance.  You will learn the rules, regulations and understand what it means to be an officer, warrant officer or enlisted member.

In the second phase, you will go through a process of learning the Military Honor Details (MHD) procedure.  Classroom instruction begins.  You will learn how to fold the flag, how to  be a Color Guard and how to perform the rifle detail.
Once you complete the classroom instruction, you will go to the field to perform live MHD with your instructors.  This is your third and final training.  Here you will apply  everything you have learned in the classroom.  Your instructors  will  provide you with guidance and leadership to help you accomplish your mission.
